Preece James 16     Charged on the oath of William Holland, of Payford Mill, in the parish of Pauntley, with having on Sunday  the 6th of May 1798, feloniously broken into his dwelling-house, at Pauntley aforesaid (no person being then therein), in the day time, and feloniously stealing thereout one gold ring, four crown pieces, one guinea, eleven shillings and sixpence, and six tontine certificates, and two pocket handkerchiefs, his property. Also on the oath of Edward Treherne, servant, with having then and thereout feloniously stolen, taken and carried away, one Tewkesbury Bill for five guineas, and seven guineas in gold, a purse and a pair of nutcrackers, the property of him the said Edward Treherne, loader and domestic servant to the said William Holland, at Payford Mill, in the parish of Pauntley aforesaid.
